New delivery fee proposed in state budget ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The New York State Assembly's 2023-24 budget proposal includes a potential increase in shipping costs statewide. Knott’s Boysenberry Festival introduces new berry-infused food, drinks  The Boysenberry Festival has returned to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, where participants will be able to try a range of foods and drinks all infused or made partly from boysenberries. In addition, local vendors, live music and a new musical stage show will be set up for guests to enjoy. Not sure how exactly one incorporates the boysenberry into so many different food items? Try the festival’s sushi burrito, wrapped in nori with a boysenberry sweet chili dipping sauce. If you are craving something sweeter, then a boysenberry waffle topped with whipped cream and boysenberry maple syrup may be the food item for you. Police catch unrelated burglar, squatter at the same time Officers responding to a burglary in Simi Valley on Saturday morning were able to not only apprehend the burglary suspect, but an unrelated squatter in the same building, police said.Officers from the Simi Valley Police Department received a call of a burglary at a Papa John’s Pizza on Tapo Street around 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning after a security guard noticed the front window to the store was broken. Authorities arrived on scene and found Sheila Williamson, 61, of Simi Valley inside the business, where she “threw cleaning chemicals throughout the store,” according to officials. One killed, two injured in traffic collision in Antioch One person was killed and two others were seriously injured Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Antioch, authorities said.The collision happened at around 10:18 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 4 and Lone Tree Way before it turns into A Street, according to the Antioch Police Department.One person, identified as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the same vehicle were taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The people in the other vehicle were not injured and stayed at the scene.One of the vehicles was traveling south on Lone Tree Way when it collided with the other vehicle as it was exiting eastbound State Route 4 and turning north onto Lone Tree Way, police said.The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
